Remake Movies aren't Healthy ?????

We have been seeing a lot of movies from Bollywood of different genres and stuff but still there’s a thing which is still really COOL in Bollywood and I am putting this post only for that.

“Hi Readers!

Aditya here again with something interesting”.

In this topic on which I will talk about is “REMAKES”.

We all are used to remakes like any good movie in Hindi is remade in Tamil or Gujarati or something.

And the filmmakers just copy paste the work and as it is easy to do because they don’t need to think about the scenes, dialogue or something.

Does it make any sense?

To be very frank it doesn’t makes any sense because it destroys the original taste of the movie.

We as a Audience aren’t getting anything new to watch just repeating the old stuff.

Auidence

And in such environment of Film Making, if anyone thinks of a movie which is out-of-the-box and very different from trend , the producer rejects the idea because he has put a lot of money.

And basically Movies are business and it’s not bad playing a safe game.

Remade movies are very efficient and does good business.

Now I will list out some movies which are remade in Bollywood and did good business.

And rest you can judge yourself, I am showing just two movies because it's not wikipedia.

This is just for observation.

All figures are taken from Wikipedia.

  1. Simmba (2018)

It was an Official Remake of Telugu Movie “Temper”(2015).

Temper

When it was originally made in Telugu it’s but was 35 Crore Rupees and did a collection of 74.3 Crore Rupees .

Which was good enough.

But when it released in Hindi, it’s budget was between 80 to 139 Crore Rupees and collected approx. 400 Crore Rupees.

Now you judge yourself making money with Old Movies.

  1. Dhadak (2018)

Dhadak

It’s a remake of one of my most loved movie “Sairat”.

But not only in hindi it has been remade in many languages.

 Dhadak (2018) in Hindi

Noor Jahaan (2018) in Bengali

Manasu Malligey (2017) in Kannada,

Laila O Laila (2017) in Odia and Channa Mereya (2017) in Punjabi.

It’s really a long list and of course the movie was amazing but the Hindi version didn’t stood that well.

The Original Movie’s Budget was just 4 Crore Rupees and collected a huge a sum of money which is 110 Crore Rupees.

Just compare the budget and collected you can yourself think how amazing film it is.

It’s Hindi version called Dhadak was made in Budget of 51 Crore Rupees and earned 110 Crore Rupees.

Is it Healthy?

Here's the big question and I will answer it because it is not totally bad not totally good.

Pros we have discussed above .

The thing which I really hate is "No New Content".

We don't get any thing new and because of such "SURE HIT" movies many movies with new and fresh concepts aren't doing good business.

This makes filmmaker uncomfortable in making new movies, and I really hate this.

And some people are showing courage to make fresh movies aren't getting good business.

For Example :- In 2011 Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his team made a Film called "Ra.One".

And this movies had best VFX of that time and was made in 150 Crore Rupees.

As it was new kind of a movie at that time people started to point out bad things about script and stuff .

If this Movie would have been any Remake no one would have criticised it and enjoyed it.

And I was a small kid when it was released and I went with my Family to watch it because I and My Mom both love to watch new kind of movies and we enjoyed it much.

Second thing which I hate about remake movies is, after getting a "HIT" title.

They throw a success party and the Directors narrate their hardwork in making movie.

I agree that the original one's can do that .

But what the fuck do the remake's director says?

And what kind of hard work has he done?

Same Scene, Same Expression , Same Screenplay what he did just copied everything.

Many Filmmakers change 2 or 3 scenes to show their work but that 2 or 3 scenes doesn't prove your hardwork.

That's harsh reality.

"Thanks for Reading I hope you got my point about Remake movies"

“And then we failed as a Audience”
